A call from halfway around the world. On-the-spot interview. Spontaneous answers.

OMG. Note that, I have no experience of being interviewed before. And I've never had a conversation with a British before either. Never!!  Cranfield called me. Exactly at 6.37 p.m. local time. I don't know what time it was in England. Noon, I guess. I totally did not expect it at all as I thought Cranfield is no dice. The interview, well, it challenged my spontaneity. I know I stuttered in the beginning. I freaked out, okay? I'm the kind of person who would do a preparation for any important event. I mean, it never crossed my mind that Cranfield would call me. My first thought when I picked up the phone was, "uggh not another training centre asking me to participate in their programme...bla bla". I was wrong! One thing that excites me most was, the interviewer actually mentioned Tony Fernandes. Omo! AirAsia is really getting big now. But I want to be bigger than AirAsia, like IATA or ICAO. I hope, I really 1000x hope I will get the chance to do my postgraduate studies at Cranfield University.

This *sigh* gahd, I hope I did well anyway. I tried my best.



ps. I'm still shocked. I can't write no more.

This can be easy, or this can be hard, but one way or the other. An offer commencing next February. However *sigh* a huge hurdle stood between me and my dream - lack of financial resources.

I can't help but wonder. Why do my hopes kept getting shot down?


O MIRACLE, WHERE ART THOU?

I turned down Newcastle. It's official, peeps. I, Azra, is going to stay in our beloved country for another couple of months or maybe even a year.

Therefore, I have a few options.

1. Another 15 months for Cranfield's ATM intake.
2. Go for RMIT for February 2010.
3. London Met for January 2010.

Both RMIT and London Met haven't given any feedback on my applications.

Word of the day: Slim.

Any girl would dream of a slim-figure. So slim so that you can fit into size 2. In women's  world, slim is the word of an angel. What about slim as in, in a chance? Nobody wants to hear the word slim in the same sentence with chance. Am I right? The loss of hope and the ruined dream.

Anyway. The point is I received another email from Cranfield. You are right, it has the word slim in the electronic mail.

One moment I would feel I want to leave the soonest possible. And another moment, I feel like "I want to stay!". Honestly, I'm afraid if I decide to stay, it would be for the wrong reason, yeno?  I am going to stay for a while for the right reason; money matters. Full stop.

I feel like I’ve lost myself or my soul. I’m confused. I received a phone call from my overseas education consultant yesterday. It was a hella good news.
